I claim to be neither a religous person or a skeptic. I've recently grown into a postion of pure uncertainty that allows me to hope more than search. I read an article this morning that I found quite appealing. I call this article "This is your brain . . . and this is your brain on God".
In addition to that, I wrote a blog on Wordpress about Twitter and these fun guys called hashtags. I'm certain that a handful of people reading this are chuckling a little to themselves about the phrase "hashtag". I chuckled myself when I first read it. That's okay, I think if you are at Twitter fan, you will soon appreciate them!
To recap yesterday, it was a decent day. HOK St. Louis finished up our RecycOlympics with Rocco Danna taking the overall gold medal! The medals were awesome (made from used products). As I am writing this in the morning, I have not yet seen any results posted in the HOK Life blog. Hopefully I will be able to do a post script [P.S.] to this blog later giving you the link! I met Amanda at the gym where we walked outside and got some fresh air and shared some stories.
Today I dressed up like a girl in a cute brown skirt with a nice top and brown jacket. I even put on a little make up to cover up the pale expressionless face I woke up with this morning. I'm hoping to have a good day. Today is the sustainable swap so I'm hoping to leave here with at least a camera or a composter. There is a bike rack I may choose to take for Eva if the other opportunites do not arise.
On a whole other quick topic, I believe I saw my brother Drew on the news last night. They showed a clip of MSD crews working on a broken sewer line. Despite the utterly smelly mess he has to work in, I'm sure he'll be loving the extra work he gets from this disaster.

Do Re Mi
So I want to start the morning out with much excitement. After reading the HOK Life blog, I had a great wake up video, for which I shall share with you! This is so right up my alley I almost fell out of my seat watching it . . . just watch!
I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did! It makes me think of the night Tim Burns called me Maria Von Trapp! Very sweet! So if anyone reading this wants to get together with me and do an "impromptu" train station dance routine to help advertise a business, call me! Very exciting!
Now, onto other things. Yesterday I was awaken from my nap on the couch to Chris freaking out because his grandparents showed up at our house unannounced! Not that it was a big deal, but the house was a mess and I'm sure they think I'm a terrible house wife. They have no idea how much I hate to clean the house. It's okay though, we all chatted and they left, life went on.
I brought in my "stuff" for HOK St. Louis' Sustainable Swap. Basically we bring in junk that we no longer want, then pull names out of a hat, that person gets to take some one else's "stuff" home. There are prizes to be won as well. Last year some people went home with bikes. I went home with Mikasa. This year I hope to go home with a prize camera! If not that, then a composter! I know, I know, a composter?! I'm big into this, I'm big into preservation of our planet. Say what you want, but I know at the end of the day, I did my part, and THAT makes all the difference!

disposable cameras
You can never fool your mother! She always knows when something is up! Enough said there.
Mom brought some Easter candy over for me and Chris, it was tasty, I ate a little bit of it and encouraged Chris to consume most of it. I of course took the sweet tarts candy for myself. It shall be noted that I did share the candy!
Now, onto a couple of other subjects. First I wanted to say that I am looking for recommendations for skiffle. It's a type of music that is not as easy to find as I might have suspected. If you have any suggestions, please send them my way!
Second topic is something I read about in Janet's blog. It's called the disposable memory project. Some people dropped disposable cameras off in cities around the world. People took the cameras, took photos, and ultimately the pictures ended up back with the project organizers. I love this idea. It's so awesome to see this stuff. I know that there are a million smart asses out there taking a picture of their not-so-smart ass, but, I hope for the most part, a lot of interesting stuff will show up. It's very exciting and I want to be a part, I want to find a camera! There was one in O'Fallon, Missouri. Only 3 cameras have been returned as of today. I'm very hopeful! Please go check it out and encourage others to look for cameras!
